Mercury Retrograde Press publishes fantasy, science fiction, and the unclassifiable, in Trade Paperback and eBook formats. We operate two imprints: Mercury Retrograde, which publishes novel-length fiction in Trade paperback and eBook formats; and Hermes, which publishes series and collections of novellas in eBook and Omnibus Trade Paper editions. Our books are distributed by Baker & Taylor, Ingram and Brodart; select titles are distributed by Follett. Mercury Retrograde titles are also available available on Espresso Book Machines.
We are a small press dedicated to unconventional authors and works that might undeservedly slip through the cracks at bigger houses, and to developing stories and artists that matter to us--one at a time. Fantasy with a psychological edge and character driven science fiction are specialties of the house.
